Ana Dubljevic (1980) is a Belgrade based performer and author in dance, choreography and performance. Ana is an active member of Station- Service for contemporary dance Belgrade. She has obtained her BA in Fine Arts, University of Belgrade. Currently Ana is successfully finishing MA Choreography and Performance studies at The Institute of Applied Theater Science in Giessen, Germany. She worked with mentors such are Bojana Kunst, Sergej i Nikolina Pristaš, Ana Vujanović, Marten Spangberg, Marcelo Evelin, Martin Sonderkamp, Francesko Scavetta, Jonathan Borrows, Mathilde Monnier, Esther Salamon. She was a recipient of scholarships of dance educational programs like DanceWeb and Nomad Dance Academy, was a resident of different European performing art centers, and her work was supported by numerous European artistic networks, like APAP and DNA. Through her choreographic work, which is mainly collaborative authorships Ana deals with questions of artistic collaboration and is interested in exploring other ways of creating in non-hierarchical structures. Her performances were shown and awarded in various dance and theater festivals, mainly in Balkan region.
