Dance at work

KONDENZ Festival of contemporary dance and performance presented its 8th edition with a selection of latest works of authors from Serbia and Europe. Those authors requestion politics, languages and actors of contemporary dance, their strategies and communicativity. Above all, Kondenz highlighted engagement of dance in reflection of working conditions for artists and consequences of their work in a social context. This is why it stepped in front of the audience with a motto dance at work.

The programme of the Festival consisted of 11 dance performances as well as a performance of the group of girls-drummers (in collaboration with FEMIX) and of a series of talks Critical Practice (Made in Yu).

The Festival was supported by Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia, City of Belgrade – Secretariat for the Economy, Robert Bosch Stiftung, Goethe Institut – Belgrad, Embassy of Poland and Culture Programme 2007-2013 of the European Union.

frisch eingetroffen // frisch eingetroffen (engl. just arrived) is Young International Performance Art platform for young and emerging performing arts. It is the program within which zeitraumexit form Mannheim and Station Service for contemporary dance have collaborated during 2015. This collaboration resulted in presentation of 5 performance and dance works in Germany and Serbia.
