Still a Difficult Duet je dobro promišljena i izgradjena koreografija, u kojoj se smenjuju trenuci savršene harmonije sa “epskim bitkama”, i gde se susreću različite estetike. Rezultat je predstava koja portretiše različite primere odnosa izmedju dva muškarca, akcentujući veoma banalne aspekte povezane sa modelima stereotipa snage.
Dva muškarca se pojavljuju na sceni i započinju takmičenje, tokom kog, uprkos ironičnoj prezentaciji različitih situacija kroz koje prolaze sagledavamo dublje značenje povezano sa psihološkim dinamikama ljudskih odnosa. Predstava do kraja potvrdjuje svoju poeticnu dimenziju, istovremeno katarzicnu i krajnju, rezultat fizičke i emotivne putanje, gde su telo, identitet i scenski prostor glavni elementi.

Still a Difficult Duet

A well thought and constructed choreography, alternating moments of perfect creative harmony with ‘epic battles’, where different aesthetics shout out when they meet. The result is a performance where examples of male relationships are portrayed, highlighting the most banal aspects linked to imposed models of virility stereotypes.
The show opens with a series of jumps rivalling those of male tribal dances, almost Zulu warrior style. The choreography constantly changes, from traditional and folklore European styles to strictly classical moves. Here the two dancers begin a competition, in which through the ironic presentation of the situations proposed there is a deeper meaning linked to the psychological dynamics of human relationships. The public is kidnapped by the incredible energy that the two men bring to the stage, and are in a constant and fundamental dialogue with them. And in the moment when the choreography becomes clearly contemporary, the two nude bodies go through a single metamorphosis, in which they melt together, reciprocally completing each other. The performance promises and produces the assertion of a poetic dimension, both cathartic and conclusive, the result of a physical and emotive path, where body, identity and scenic space are the principal elements.
